Relaxing with Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Chip Cookies

We are now on our 3 day at the Hampton Inn. Stephanie enjoys coming into the hotel's front lobby making herself some hot chocolate and eating some chocolate chips cookies while watching tv.

The New Floor!

Yes, this is a photo from JoAnn's blog, but it's a great picture of our newly refinished floors. They look great and I can not wait to move back.

Old Floor

The carpet is pulled up and the old floor will be sanded and stained.

"World Famous Zephyr Store"

Just south of Brownwood on US HWY 183 is the blink of the eye town of Zephyr. I do not know if the owner thought that they would have more customers if they said "World Famous" or what. The store has been closed for some time.

Rachel loves to cook.

I stay and worked a home today, since it was a school holiday for the kids. Rachel was very excited when JoAnn told Rachel to have the baked potatoes and salad ready when she got home from work.

The Family room is finally painted.

Over the mantel, JoAnn painted the wall red. Just the one wall in the living room is red.

Although it doesn't show up too well, the other walls are painted a light yellow white: popcorn is the paint name. Now we wait for the new furniture.
